Young goalkeeper Matthew Rowley has been a part of the Royals youth teams from a young age.

He made his first Premier League 2 appearance for Reading Under-21s against Middlesbrough in November 2021.

Rowley spent the second half of the 2022-23 season on loan at Isthmian League side Bognor Regis Town, helping the Rocks to a Sussex Senior Cup final and a 14th-placed finish.

The 2023-24 campaign will see the shotstopper join Beaconsfield Town until the end of January.
