FAQ
When do Half Season Tickets go on sale?
Half Season Tickets are on sale now. Supporters are encouraged to purchase online via ticketing.readingfc.co.uk. If you need assistance phone our sales line on 0118 968 1313.
How many games are included?
13 home league games are included in the Half Season Ticket which starts from the Northampton Town match on Thursday 26th December 2024.
How do I qualify for the Loyalty discount price?
If you are a Member Card Holder who has purchased 3 or more home league games this season then you will qualify for the offer and the discount will automatically be applied in the basket.
How old do you need to be to attend without an adult?
Except for Club 1871 the minimum age to attend without an adult (18+) is 14.
Within Club 1871, all 15 and under’s must be accompanied by someone who is 18 and over on a maximum of 4:1 ratio. This ratio must be met when purchasing in this area, as well as on matchday. The adult within the transaction will be responsible and required to remain with the 15 and unders at all times.
How will I receive my Season Ticket?
Supporters will be able to download their Half Season Ticket to their smart phone into their Google or Apple Wallet. Supporters can also request a physical card by phoning the Ticket Office on 0118 968 1313. A £5 charge will apply per card, plus a £2 transaction fee.
Please note: Supporters will not be able to download their Half Season Ticket until Monday 17th December, and any physical card requested will not be printed until this date.
Your Half Season Ticket will then be activated ready for Northampton Town on Thursday 26th December 2024 but will not work for any fixture before this date.
Can I have it sent to a different address or in a different name as I want it to be a surprise for Christmas?
If we post your Half Season Ticket, we are unable to guarantee posting it to a different person and advise you to request for the Half Season Ticket to be left for collection from our main reception on non-matchdays or from the Main Ticket Office on matchdays.
If you are purchasing a Half Season Ticket as a present, we are also unable to guarantee a confirmation email will not be sent to the Half Season Ticket Holder. We will also notify supporters by email to remind them to download their half season ticket and the purchase will be listed on a supporter’s purchase history which can be viewed on their account online.
Which age category should I pay?
Concessionary age bands for Half Season Tickets are calculated based on the age you are on 26th December 2024.
Do I need to carry ID if I purchase a Concession ticket?
Regular checks are made of Concession ticket usage at the turnstiles. Any supporters purchasing age related concession prices are advised to bring a form of identification with them to the match. Staff may challenge anyone considered not to be a genuine concession and request proof of age.
Misuse of this Season Ticket may result in the holder being refused entry to, or ejected rom the Ground in respect of a particular Match and/or the cancellation and withdrawal of their Season Ticket. For full terms and conditions please visit ticketing.readingfc.co.uk.
Can Half Season Ticket holders upgrade their ticket on a match by match basis?
Yes half season ticket holders will be able to upgrade their season ticket a maximum of 3 times + evening games.
Season ticket holders can do this by phoning the ticket office on 0118 968 1313 and paying the appropriate upgrade fee. Supporters are advised to do this in advance of match day to avoid match day queues.
Do you have any Wheelchair bays available?
Yes, although we have limited availability. Please phone 0118 968 1313 option 2 to discuss options.
Do you have any parking permits available?
We have a small amount of availability in the main red car park at a cost of £130 which can be purchased over the phone. Our orange accessible car park is sold out, but we are operating a waiting list at a cost of £10 but this will be refunded to you if you are offered a permit in the future. To join the waiting list please phone 0118 968 1313.
What happens if I lose my Half Season Ticket throughout the season?
Please phone our sales line on 0118 968 1313 and we will be able to replace your card. There is a £5 administration cost. Alternatively, you can download a Google & Apple Wallet Season Ticket for free.
I am a current full Season Ticket holder; can I move my seat in order to sit with my friend or family member who is purchasing a Half Season Ticket?
Yes you will be able to do this.
If the new half season ticket holder is doing this on your behalf they will need a letter or email from yourself confirming that you give permission to have your seat moved.
The letter/email will need to include the following information:
- Your name, supporter ID, address, and date of birth.
Upon receipt of this information, we will move your season ticket in to the new seat.
