Noel previews his side's return to action

Reading host Peterborough United at the Select Car Leasing Stadium this Saturday at 3pm, and Royals boss Noel Hunt has penned his thoughts ahead of his team's return to action.

The two sides go into the game with unbeaten runs to boast about with the hosts ten without defeat whilst the Posh haven't lost in seven, and the Gaffer is wary of the threat posed by Darren Ferguson's side.

Ahead of the game, you can read his full thoughts below:

Peterborough's threat
"They're a really good side. They've got a great Manager, and I remember at the start of the season they were second favourites to win the league - so that tells you a lot about what they are. They've always been a really strong candidate at this level, and I think their front four are the most complete front four in the league, and we have to be on our guard from the first moment. They can really hurt you if we don't fight with them, and they have a really good understanding of the game, so it's up to us to be aggressive and on the front foot as best as we can be."

On getting back to the action
"We're really happy to be back in, and we've had a really good week. The boys look really good and are sharp and fresh, and we're really pleased to be back for the run-in."

Injury update
"Ben [Elliott] is ticking way, he's had another week. He's probably another week away from full contact but he's getting there.

Andre [Garcia] took a knock to the ankle and from what I'm hearing the reports have been positive. He came back on crutches from that game, but he's had a scan and it's not too bad, but he has quite a lot of bruising and swelling. We'll assess him and see how he is ahead of the game.

Jeriel [Dorsett] is back on the grass and is working well. We're very keen to make sure he gets this hamstring right, he's a real asset to this club and we need to make sure he gets there.

Amadou [Mbengue] is a little way away, but he's progressing very quickly and is a very quick healer. He's had a couple of injections in his knee and he's running fine and moving well, and will come back into content next week.

Harlee [Dean] is a tough one for him, he's felt a niggle in his hip and he's gone for some imagin today to see the extent of the injury."

Tyler Bindon's return
"Tyler was in today and did a little bit on the bike to keep his legs ticking over. He came back yesterday [Wednesday] from a long trip having got himself on the scoresheet and qualifying for the World Cup. He's had an unbelievable 18 months and it's only getting better for him, he looks fresh and has that infectious smile on his face."

The fixture schedule
"We're ready to go. This is what it's all about, we wanted to give ourselves a chance to be there or there abouts. We've had a couple of meetings this week and you go back to next August and outside the club we weren't given a chance to be where we are now, but inside the building there is a belief. There is such a strong unity around the group in terms of how we do things, our work rate, our values, and our intensity. We try and 'out train' the game, and we stay on the same page before the break and focus on the next game."

The pressure of the run-in
"Because we're so young, some of them perhaps haven't comprehended what it means to be in contention at the end of the season, they just focus on coming in and doing their job the best way. If we do what we should do in and out of possession, we will give ourselves the best chance to win games of football. We look at what we're doing with a torch, not a floodlight, and we just focus day to day, game to game."

On what the team can achieve
"I think we've achieved already in terms of how we've gone about this season. Everyone knows our story, and it's not easy. What I can say is we have so many leaders here, Joel Pereira, Lewis Wing, Andy Yiadom, Harvey Knibss, Harlee Dean and the other senior pros - they keep the boys focussed on the day to day objectives of this team."
