The Club can confirm that forward Sam Smith has completed a transfer to League One side Wrexham for an undisclosed fee.
Whilst the club was not actively seeking to sell Sam, the significant offer payable by Wrexham will help support the essential short-term finances required to run the club.
Since returning to Reading in the summer of 2023, Sam has been a regular figure in attack, scoring 11 goals in 25 appearances this season. In total, he has made 74 appearances in Royals colours, finding the net 27 times.
