Cleverley's Hornets to host Rubén's Royals in July
Reading will face Watford in a behind closed doors friendly at The Watford Football Club Training Ground on Saturday 6th July, 11am.
The clash with the Hornets will be the first time the Royals cross the white line in our 2024-25 preparations, and will offer the players valuable minutes ahead of our Sky Bet League One campaign kicking off in August.
Our most recent meeting with the Hertfordshire side saw the teams play out a 2-2 draw at the Select Car Leasing Stadium in 2023, and you can relive the highlights below.
