Reading 5-0 Swindon Town | 10.10.23

In October, the Royals put on a masterclass against Swindon Town in this Bristol Street Motors Trophy. Harvey Knibbs stole the show with a remarkable hat-trick, complemented by late strikes from Paul Mukairu and Harlee Dean, sealing a resounding victory.

Swindon would languish at the bottom of Group O, while the Royals soared to the top spot with three wins from three, including a dazzling 9-0 triumph over Exeter City and a 5-2 conquest over Arsenal's Under 21s.

Wycombe Wanderers 1-2 Reading | 25.11.23

A trip to Adams Park in late November saw Rubén Sellés' men secure a vital victory. Although Sam Smith opened the scoring for the Royals, Wycombe quickly equalized. However, former-Chairboy Lewis Wing's effort ensured we had the last laugh, reinstating the lead and clinching victory, our first away league win in 378 days.

Reading 1-1 Oxford United | 12.12.23

In December, the Royals clashed with Oxford United for the first time in over two decades in this Thames Valley derby. After falling behind, Sam Smith swiftly restored parity with a well-taken goal, earning us a hard-fought point.

Oxford United 1-1 Reading | 03.02.24

At the beginning of February, the Royals ventured to the Kassam Stadium for the first time since 2003, showing remarkable resilience once more in this hotly contested derby.

Their first-half opener was cancelled out by a 76th-minute own goal from Ciaron Brown, igniting wild celebrations among the traveling fans. Once again displaying the grit and determination needed to secure a point on derby day.

Another local rivalry awaits this Saturday as Wycombe Wanderers are the visitors to RG2. And as always, we need you with us as we enter the final 10 games together!

Advanced ticket prices end at 11am on Saturday, so be sure to secure your seat ahead of the weekend!
