A chance to unite ahead of the season opener

After the huge success of last year's Pre-Season Social at the iconic Purple Turtle, we're delighted to confirm we will be doing it all over again as we prepare for the start of the 2024/25 campaign away to Birmingham City.

On Thursday 8th August, the renowned venue will open its doors to host Royals fans, staff, guests, and maybe a surprise or two along the way...!

Of course, we don't need to tell you about the significance of the Purple Turtle. Hundreds of you filed through their doors at the end of April, as fans, players and staff came together to celebrate and reflect on a positive end to what had been a difficult season for all concerned.

This time we arrive in Reading Town Centre with a forward thinking approach, as we get ready for the new campaign as one, with fresh hopes and aspirations ahead of Matchday 1.

We'll be enjoying the sounds of a DJ and appearances of special guests, and with limited places available exclusively to Season Ticket holders, you're not going to want to miss it! 

Entry is for supporters aged 18 or over only, doors will open at 7pm and the evening will run until last orders. Tickets are just £9 per Season Ticket holder and they are on sale now using the following selling criteria: 

• 1 per Season Ticket holder
• Only on sale to supporters aged 18+ (ID checks also made at the venue)
• All tickets need to be downloaded to Google/Apple Wallet for entry on the evening

Please note there is very limited availability and tickets will be sold as first come, first serve.

We can't wait to see as many of you there as possible, for what is sure to be a fantastic event in the centre of our town.
