New signing speaks after Deadline Day move
Clinton Mola said: "I am ready to get going, to get on the pitch with my new teammates, and, of course, to meet the fans," after bolstering the Royals' back-line by signing for the club on Deadline Day.
The promising full-back joins the club after most recently being with Bundesliga side Stuttgart, and spent last season on loan in the Championship at Blackburn Rovers.
"I’m happy to finally get it over the line. It has been a long process but I am glad that it is done now. I have been in talks with the club for about a week actually, so I’m glad everything is sealed.
"I had a few conversations with Mark (Bowen) and the gaffer. When I heard about the interest it was really important for them to outline the project and the direction the club wants to go in.
"Once I heard all about that, I knew it was the right decision for me."

This move sees Mola return to England permanently after three years in Germany, a bold decision not many would have the confidence to make at such a young age. He returns with a great deal of experience, and is ready to start performing with his new side.
"I moved out there as a young boy. It was a good experience, and a good learning curve as well for me as a person and player, so there are valuable things I can take from my time in Stuttgart.
"It was a big challenge for me, but I am glad that I took that opportunity.
"It is good to be closer to home, be closer to family and in familiar surroundings,
"Most importantly when I heard of Reading’s interest, the fact it is a established club, and that I am very well aware of the club, was a big factor as well.

"I played alongside Ben Elliott in the Chelsea Academy, so we know each other well. I'm really looking forward to meeting the rest of the boys.
"I'm a versatile player who is confident, and a leader as well. I am someone who tries to get up and down the pitch to help the team as much as possible.
"I'm just glad everything is done. I am ready to get going, to get on the pitch, to play with my new teammates and, of course, see all the fans soon.
"I want to be playing a lot of games. But I feel this international break that's coming after the Cambridge game can give me time to gel within the squad, get to know my new teammates, get familiar with new surroundings – it’s a bit of a win-win.
"I am fit, I’m available, I’m ready. The SCL is a nice stadium, so I am definitely looking forward to meeting all the fans!"
