Saturday's home draw against Burton Albion made for a frustrating day at the office, especially given how dominant the Royals were throughout.

Despite the disappointment, Femi Azeez is fully behind the process implemented by Rubén Sellés, and knows it is only a matter of time before he gets on the scoresheet, and results are consistently postive.

He said: "It is kind of frustrating to be honest, we controlled most of the game, we had chances but we just weren't able to find that finishing shot or that finishing chance.

"Nevertheless, it was a good shift from the lads and we will just go again, and deal with it on Tuesday.

"At least I'm shooting. I guess the more shots I take the more likely it is to go in. At least I'm getting in the right areas. I've got the confidence to take it on myself.

"It will come eventually. I'm not putting any excessive pressure on myself. When it comes to comes.

"It's always good to have the backing of the manager. The main thing for me is I'm staying fit, which is good.

"Getting a run of games is pretty much what I needed, so I'm happy I'm getting that now.

"It took a while for us to actually get used to it because coming from the season before, we didn't really have that much high pressure.

"Obviously distances have gone up through the roof.

"As the games have gone on, everyone's adapted, myself included, gettting fitter, knowing how to use the pressure well, when and when to do exactly, I like playing it because I love sprinting around."

Azeez is confident in the ability of the young team assembled for this season, and believes the side can thrive, irrespective of age or any pressure which builds up.

"You have to remember we're still a young team. Many of us haven't played first team football regularly ever before.

"It's not about putting extensive pressure on ourselves. We all know to play football, and we know how to play as a team.

"We have just got to get behind each other and just play well for the team, play well for us, for the fans, and just try and get the three points.

"We're used to it now. Playing Saturday, Tuesday, Saturday is not alien to us. I personally have been playing it for the last three seasons.

"We have all got the legs on us to be able to do, we've got squad depth now so I don't think it'd be too too challenging physically.

"Obviously, it's never easy playing Saturday Tuesday, Saturday, it's always demanding.

"We'll be in Sunday and Monday building, looking to get the three points on Tuesday."
