Remembering those who made the ultimate sacrifice 

On Tuesday night, the Select Car Leasing Stadium fell silent and took a moment to remember those who valiantly fought for our freedom.

Every single person in the stadium, whether a fan, player, or staff, united in remembrance and impeccably observed a minute’s silence in honour of all who have gone into battle on our behalf.

As we did on Tuesday night, on the morning of Remembrance Sunday the nation will fall silent to remember those who gave their lives for our freedom.

"They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old,

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun, and in the morning

We will remember them."
