The final day of the season is not going to have anything hang on it. But the aim is still to go out with a performance for the fans who travel to the John Smith’s Stadium on Monday.

“Nothing is going to change for Monday. We’ll put out eleven players on Monday who will do their best to go and win a game of football,” Hunt began.

“What we need is complete commitment for that 90 minutes. Whether they start or come off the bench, I need them to give me 100%.

“I’ve told them that as long as they come back in the dressing room at the end of the game, having sacrificed everything for the team out there, no-one is going to think any less of you. And that is good enough for me.

“Because that has been the foundation of this football club for as long as I’ve known it. And anything short of that is not good enough.”
