Defender on Lions test, scoring at the Den, and a regular run on return to fitness

Naby Sarr was the key contributor when we last faced Millwall – it was his goal, a header on his debut, that sent Reading home from the Den with three points.

He is expecting a different sort of game this weekend when the South London side travel along the M4 to RG2. Different to our previous meeting, and different to our last outing against Sheffield United. But certainly a tough one upcoming, against a side who are firmly in the promotion mix.

“If I can do the same that I did there and help the team by scoring, then I will!” said Sarr.

“But first of course we have to regroup after the Sheffieid United result, work hard, and be ready for another tough battle on Saturday.

“It will be a different game, but still a difficult game. They are playing to get into the play-offs and we’re playing to get as many points as we can.

“And we’re a difficult team to play against at home, so if we can keep it like this, we will do everything we can to get the result on Saturday.”
