A busy week ‘in store’ in RG2 with Reading FC Women

Anticipated record crowd & first Fanstore event coming next week!

On Sunday 22^nd January, Reading FC Women will be welcoming Manchester United to the Select Car Leasing Stadium which promises to be an entertaining encounter in front of what is expected to be a record-breaking crowd.

In the first half of the 2022/23 season, the Royals have broken their club attendance record twice which previously stood at 1,500 against Sunday’s opponents back in March 2022.

The record was first beat in October 2022, when Tottenham came to town in the first home game of the season in the FA Women’s Continental Cup, with a capacity of 2,200. However, just two weeks later, a new record was set as Arsenal came to RG2 which 3,660 fans came to watch.

With a little over one week to go till the fixture, there has been a record amount of tickets purchased as well as a sell out in hospitality, with an expected crowd to be in excess of 4,000.

Advanced ticket prices will continue to be on sale up until four hours before kick-off (10am on Sunday), with ticket prices starting from as little as £4.
