The Royals’ home form still reads relatively well and the last two league games at the Select Car Leasing Stadium have resulted in four-goal thrillers, both ending in parity.

Tonight we welcome the Millers and Paul Ince is hoping to pay back the fans who left the Stadium of Light disappointed with a result against Rotherham.

“We have to take the frustration of Saturday into the game against Rotherham,” Ince said.

“Saturday boiled down to one mistake. And we need to try to pay the fans back on Tuesday night with three points against a very tough Rotherham side.

“Every game is important. But, tonight, we are at home and our last game on home turf saw us draw against Watford. We’re no pushovers at home. But Rotherham went to Blackpool at the weekend and got a point – so we know they are no pushovers as well.

“They are going to be organised, they have some very good players – Ogbene is one of those, a very talented player. So even though our home form is still good, no-one will be taking anything for granted and no-one should!”
