Chambers speaks on new additions and exciting Liverpool contest

After a busy end to the transfer window for Reading FC Women, Chambers talks about the decision to bring back Jade Moore, the qualities of Easther Mayi Kith will bring to the defensive unit and a new player in the offing.

“I’m really pleased with the way the new players have settled in.

“Obviously Jade’s been with us before, she knows the staff, some of the players, so she slotted in straight away.

“We know her qualities, she wasn’t playing much at Man United and we saw it as an opportunity for someone to come in, who knows the way we play and what we expect, she also has much more experience to bring in as well which can only help the squad overall.

“And Easther, she won’t be available for the weekend purely based on waiting for her visa to come through, but she’s got to know the girls really well over these last couple of days, and has got to know the place.

“We’ve been watching her for a little while now, and she gives us qualities that are probably different to any other backline players, she’s fast, strong and athletic. She also likes to play and possesses some really good on the ball abilities, so it gives us a different dimension.

“And I've got another striker coming in today as well which is exciting for us. So overall, I'm really happy with our business. Not just that it gives us a little bit more depth, but we’ve got new qualities which will only help us over the next few months.”
