Azeez applauds the team's togetherness to overcome huge test
Royals midfielder, Femi Azeez, brings his goal contributions up to eight in the last eight matches, as Reading seal a point away at Peterborough on Boxing Day.
With the team having to display their defensive accuman, the winger shared his responsibilites to help the team out while out of possession, and the confidence which has now returned as he enjoys a purple patch infront of goal.
Femi's gives his full post-match reaction here:

"It was a highly commendable performance from the entire team. We had a bit of a slow start, which initially put us on the back foot, but as the game progressed, we regained our composure and really kicked on.
Falling behind twice and managing to get ourselves back into the game, especially against opponents of this caliber, speaks volumes about how much progress we've made in recent weeks. We can genuinely take pride in our collective efforts.
In every game, we face challenges that test both our attacking and defending capabilities. Today, our defensive skills were put to the test. As wingers, it's crucial to be disciplined in our defensive duties, providing support and being willing to stay back more than what might feel comfortable. However, it's essential not to be selfish and always prioritize the team. I believe that selflessness was a significant factor in our success today.
Matches like today underscore the importance of staying mentally sharp throughout. It's easy to switch off, especially as an attacking player when you're not seeing as much of the ball, and the demands become even more pronounced. The margin for error shrinks, and that mental focus becomes crucial.
When we reflect on our performance over the last few games, the gaffer reminded us that we are more than capable of coming to a place like this and securing something positive. Our recent string of results validates that belief. As a team, our performances are improving, and points are coming our way, creating a positive atmosphere.
Personally, I'm enjoying my game again. I feel confident, contributing to the scoresheet with goals and assists—anything I can do to help the team navigate the challenges we're facing. Now it's time to recover, prepare the mind and body for Cheltenham, and hopefully, we can continue picking up more points."
