Royals boss on the importance of our Schools & Grassroots match against Coventry

Saturday’s game against Coventry marks the restart of the campaign – but it is also a key date in the diary because we are welcoming so many youngsters into the stadium as part of our Schools & Grassroots campaign.

After a couple of packed-out games of this nature last season, and another bumper crowd when we hosted Huddersfield this campaign, it’s another chance to get new supporters through the doors for the very first time.

And manager Paul Ince is right behind it and looking forward to seeing the stadium brimming with smiling faces on Saturday…

“We’ve had a game like this before where the kids fill the place up – that’s important, because they’re the next generation of Reading fans!” Ince said.
