A big crowd expected for a big occasion – be sure you come prepared to meet the latest government guidance for football stadia…

Buy your ticket here!

In line with the latest government legislation, for our Luton (h) fixture this weekend, all supporters aged 18 or over should be prepared to present either proof of full vaccination via a valid COVID pass or proof of a negative lateral flow test taken within 48 hours of entry to the stadium.

Full vaccination equates to two vaccinations - that last being 14 days or more prior to the day of the match.

Supporters can obtain an NHS Covid Pass digitally through the NHS App, online via NHS.UK, or as a letter sent in the post.

How you can prove your eligibility for entry:
  • A COVID-19 pass accessible via the NHS App or downloaded to your mobile phone. This will include a QR code and have an expiry date attached to it.
  • An NHS letter showing dates of both vaccines. Proof of identification may be checked to verify identity.
  • An international vaccination card showing dates of both vaccinations. Proof of identification may be checked to verify identity.
  • Proof of a negative Lateral Flow Test taken within the previous 48 hours, via a text message or an email from NHS (white plastic test strips from the Lateral Flow Tests will not be accepted as proof) or a screenshot of the recorded result which has been uploaded to the NHS website.

Be prepared

Ensure you have your Covid Pass or proof of lateral flow test ready to be checked before you get to the turnstiles. It is recommended to take a screenshot of your pass before attending, as obtaining the pass using internet signal can often be problematic at large spectator venues.

Bring your ID!

We would like to remind both home and away supporters to attend this weekend’s match with suitable photo ID.

Photo ID will need to be checked where a person only has a vaccination card as proof of full vaccination. And a form of identification may be required to verify other forms of COVID eligibility.

Arrive early and be patient

With a bumper crowd expected for our 150th anniversary fixture this weekend, we urge all supporters to arrive at the Select Car Leasing Stadium in good time.

Naturally, with COVID status required to enter the stadium bowl, entry to the stadium will take longer than normal so we would encourage as many supporters to head to their seats in plenty of time ahead of kick-off at 3pm.

The below graphic indicates when each gate is expected to be at its busiest on a matchday. Supporters are encouraged to enter at quieter times where possible.

Please be patient

We would also politely ask for your patience on the day of the game. There are new measures being brought in ahead of our busiest game of the season by staff will be doing their best to deliver a positive matchday experience for all.

We fully recognise that there may be some supporters who could hold strong feelings on the intrduction of these measures. However, the requirement to show your Covid status is a new requirement on venues so please co-operate with our staff who will have to undertake these checks.

How do I get a pass?

Digital NHS COVID Pass
Supporters who are fully vaccinated can prepare by signing up for their NHS Covid Pass via a computer, tablet or mobile phone.

To register for the digital pass, you must have photographic ID. If you do not, you must request a paper NHS Covid Pass.

Click HERE to sign up for the digital pass. The pass is a QR code, which looks like the below:

Supporters who decide to make use of the digital NHS Covid Pass can either:

  • Display the pass on a smartphone (internet signal may be required)
  • Download the pass to a smartphone
  • Download and print a physical copy to be brought to the event

It is recommended that you download a copy to your smartphone to avoid any issues regarding signal at the stadium. Supporters also have the ability to download and print a physical copy of the digital pass.

The digital NHS Covid Pass expires every 30 days and we encourage supporters to renew at the earliest opportunity ahead of further fixtures.

Paper NHS COVID pass
Supporters who are over 18 and fully vaccinated, but do not have the ability to obtain a digital passport through a computer, tablet or smartphone, can request a paper NHS Covid Pass.

Also, supporters who do not have photographic ID must register for the paper NHS Covid Pass. Please note, supporters should wait five days after their final dose before requesting the paper copy.

This service is available seven days a week, between 7am and 11pm. To request a paper NHS Covid Pass, call 119. GPs cannot provide this service.

Please note this can take up to 10 working days to arrive, therefore supporters who must use this service are recommended to do so as soon as possible.

Recent negative Lateral Flow Test result
Those who are not fully vaccinated and are over the age of 18 should have a recent negative lateral flow test result to attend.

We urge supporters who are not fully vaccinated to ensure they have lateral flow tests available to use when required. The tests must be taken at home, no more than 48 hours prior to attending Select Car Leasing Stadium. Within the LFT kit, there are clear instructions on how to take the test and record the results.

Supporters should not bring their physical test with them, but record the LFT result with the NHS. This can be done by visiting the website HERE or calling 119 (7am-11pm daily). When the result has been recorded, you will receive a text message and email from the NHS, which looks similar to the above. This is deemed as a valid NHS COVID pass.
