The Royals’ starting XI and subs for our opening-day game against Stoke City…

Royals boss Veljko Paunovic has handed full debuts in the Sky Bet Championship to Femi Azeez and Ethan Bristow for our opening-day encounter of the 2021-22 season at Stoke City.

Liam Moore, who was away at the Gold Cup with Jamaica over the summer, wears the captain’s armband once again at the start of his fifth season as a Royal.

There are five subs on the bench for matchday 1 – a quartet of Academy graduates in Luke Southwood, Tom Holmes, Dejan Tetek and Mamadi Camara, completed by Romanian international George Puscas.
