Striker set for a third loan spell in Scotland with season-long stay at Tannadice

Reading Football Club can announce that striker Marc McNulty has completed a loan move to newly-promoted Scottish Premiership side Dundee United.

The 28-year-old striker spent spells with Sunderland and then Hibernian last season and the Edinburgh-born forward now heads back north of the border to sign season-long loan terms with Micky Mellon’s Terrors.

McNulty joined the Royals from Coventry City in the summer of 2018 and scored once in 6(+9) appearances before making a loan switch to Hibs.

After eight goals in 17 appearances at Easter Road, he joined Sunderland on loan in July 2019 and scored five goals in 21 appearances for the League One Black Cats.

He swapped Wearside for a return to Hibernian last January and, after following two appearances as a Royal in the Carabao Cup last month, Marc will now spend the remainder of 2020-21 in his native Scotland with Dundee United.

We would like to wish Marc the best of luck during his loan spell.
