Bio

Abu-Dhabi born Natasha Dowie started her career at Watford in 2004 and has played for 13 teams across 6 countries, most recently in Italy for AC Milan before switching black and red for blue and white.  

Dowie boasts a wealth of footballing experience having played across English football with Watford, Fulham, Charlton Athletic, Everton, Barnet, Liverpool, Doncaster Rovers Belles and now Reading.  

Aside from Milan, overseas, Dowie has played for American side Boston Breakers, Swedish outfit Linköping, Norwegian side Vålerenga and she has had 3 loan spells with Australian side Melbourne Victory before joining them permanently in 2018.  

Three league titles, two with Liverpool and one with Melbourne Victory as well as two domestic cups with Everton including a brace against Arsenal in the 2010 FA Women’s Cup Final.  

Dowie’s successes with Liverpool in 2013 and 2014 earned her a call-up to the England squad for the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifiers where she scored 5 goals in games against Belarus, Turkey, Montenegro and a brace against Ukraine.
