Welsh international, Rachael Rowe, has been a Royal for over 7 years in which she has played over 100 times for the club.  

Rowe started her senior career in the Welsh capital with Cardiff City in 2012, winning the Welsh Premier Women’s Football League title in the 2012/13 season, before leaving for Swansea City in the summer of 2013. Two more years in Wales followed before she made the switch to Berkshire in 2015.  

Rowe joined Reading in February 2015, when the club was competing in the WSL 2, playing semi-professionally and still residing in Swansea. Following Reading’s promotion to the WSL, Rowe signed a professional deal in December 2015. Most recently, Rowe signed a new three-year deal with the Royals in March 2021.
