Belgian midfielder, Justine Vanhaevermaet, boasts experience having played in Belgium, Germany and Norway before signing for Reading in 2021 where she held a pivotal role in the side for the 2021/22 season.
Vanhaevermaet’s senior career started out at Waasland-Beveren Sinaai Girls in 2008. After four years in Sint-Niklaas, she signed for Anderlecht in 2012. Three years with Lierse, she rejoined Anderlecht before switching Belgium for Germany in 2018 joining SC Sand. A short time in Germany was followed with three years across two clubs in Norway, Røa in 2019 and LSK Kvinner in 2020 before joining Reading in August 2021.
Vanhaevermaet has been in the Belgium national side since 2013 earning over 30 caps and scoring four goals, most notably in the Red Flames’ game against Iceland in their UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 campaign.
