Bio

At the club since 2009, Republic of Ireland international Goalkeeper, Grace Moloney has been on Reading’s books for her entire career to date. 

Grace joined the Royals at youth level having previously been with Slough Juniors, before leaving for Queens Park Rangers. Grace then later re-joined Reading as she pursued football at an international level before getting a taste of first team football in 2009.  

Moloney played an integral role in the Reading side that won the FA WSL 2 in 2015, which saw her rewarded with a professional contract for the following season. During that season, she joined Aston Villa in a loan spell as she sought after regular first team action.  

Grace came back from her loan spell and then cemented her spot in Chambers’ Reading side and has since continued to sign new deals to extend her stay in Berkshire and has now amassed over 200 appearances for the club. 

The experienced shot-stopper has played for her international side at U17 and U19 before breaking into the senior side in 2016, the year that she won promotion to the FA WSL 1.
