Goalkeeper
England
Bio
Shot stopper Harvey Collins joined our Academy aged 11 at which point he had only played in goal for less than a year - he has since gone on to be part of a successful age group who have progressed to the later stages of national competitions and he has also represented his country.
Harvey attended an international training camp from which he was selected to play for the U16 England side in a tournament in Scotland, where he made his international debut.
He spent his 2020-21 campaign playing his football between the sticks for our Under-18s side and stepped up into the Under-21s set-up for the 2021-22 season.
Since then Collins has fight for his place in the sport. Contracting sepsis and being told he only had a 40% chance to live, and that he'd never play football again. 298 days later, he returned between the sticks.
The 6ft1 'keeper started the 2023-24 season with clean sheets on his first two appearances, coming on from the bench during half-time at St George's Park, to replace Dean Bouzanis, and playing every minute in our 1-0 win over Newcastle at the SCL.
