Bio
Midfielder Tyrese Fornah joined the Royals on a season-long loan in July 2022 from Premier League newcomers Nottingham Forest.
Joining the Nottinghamshire side following his release from Brighton & Hove Albion in 2018, he made his first team debut from the bench against Chelsea in an FA Cup Third Round tie at Stamford Bridge in January 2020.
Later that month the midfielder made a temporary move to Portuguese second division team Casa Pia, making five appearances for the club before the season was brought to an end due to the covid-19 pandemic.
Fornah spent the 2020-21 season back in English football on loan at League One side Plymouth Argyle, where he became a first team regular following his league debut in a 2-0 win over Burton Albion - he featured 44 times under Ryan Lowe as the Pilgrims finished 18th in their first season back in the third tier.
Fornah made three appearances at the start of 2021-22 for Forest, featuring in the Carabao Cup against Bradford City and top-side side Wolverhampton Wanderers as well as making his Championship debut against Blackburn Rovers in August 2021. He then spent the second half of the campaign gaining more experience at Shrewsbury Town, where he featured 19 times for the League One outfit.
He flew back to the UK from a pre-season tour with Forest, joining the Royals ranks while the side were at St George's Park for a pre-season camp.
