Bio

James Oliver-Pearce joined the club as our First Team Coach in July 2022 after a decade with AFC Wimbledon.

He initially joined the club as an Academy coach in 2012 and worked his way up through the age groups with the Dons, become assistant for the Under-18s in 2014 before managing the Under-16s side a year later.

In 2021 he was appointed Head Coach of the Under-18s, before then-AFC Wimbledon manager Mark Robinson promoted him to his first team coaching staff, a role he continued to impress in during Mark Bowen’s short stint at the helm towards the end of 2021-22.

With the return of Bowen to Reading, Oliver-Pearce shortly followed suit as part of Paul Ince’s first team coaching structure, a role which he remained in when Rubén Sellés took over as manager in July 2023.
