Reading Football Club are delighted to confirm Chem Campbell has rejoined the club from Wolves on a loan deal until the end of the 2024/25 campaign.

The deal will be completed following EFL ratification, and will see the forward link up with the Royals once more after impressing in the first half of the season, with 22 appearances yielding a return of five goals and four assists in the all competitions.

First Team Manager Noel Hunt said, "We're delighted to secure Chem's signature until the end of the campaign. He has really grown into the season and has become an important part of our team. He's a great kid first and foremost, and he wants to learn, he wants to work, and he wants to improve.

They're the kind of people you want in this football club, the type of people who want to improve not just themself, but improve the team too. We're absolutely delighted, and we're sure there were a few takers for him, and it shows the strength we have inside the building and the characters we have that he wanted to come back here and play for us."

The Birmingham born wide man has been an ever present in the Royals line-up since penning his initial loan deal on last August's Transfer Deadline Day.

He made his debut when his side hosted Leyton Orient in mid September, and would go on to feature in 19 consecutive Sky Bet League One ties, completing the full 90 minutes on 11 of those occasions.

His first goals came on the first day of October, with a brace against Burton Albion securing a 3-1 victory at the Select Car Leasing Stadium. A further goal at Stockport County and important assists against Stevenage and Barnsley has seen our ever-present forward make a real impact.

Away from League One, Chem weighed in with the winning goals in our FA Cup Second Round victory against Harborough Town, a victory that setup Saturday's Third Round tie against Championship side Burnley.

Welcome back Chem!
