At the end of April our 2023-24 Sky Bet League One season drew to a close, and with planning well underway for the next campaign in August, decisions have been made and communicated to the First Team players whose contracts are due to expire this summer.
Options Activated
The club have activated one-year options to the following players’ contracts, meaning they will be signed on with the Royals for a further season:

Contract Offered
Kelvin Abrefa and Tivonge Rushesha are both currently in talks regarding new contract offers with the club that will see them extend their stays in RG2.

Loanees Dom, Zane and Paul return to their parent clubs, and we would like to thank them for all their efforts throughout the season.
We must also single out Tom Holmes, who joins up with Luton Town after signing for the Hatters in January. An Academy graduate who joined the Royals 16 years ago, we wish him all the very best in the next chapter of his career.
