The final international break of the season saw a handful of our Royals in action for their national teams, here’s how our players fared on the global stage:

Republic of Ireland – Jessie Stapleton

Jessie Stapleton made a short cameo on Friday night as she came on in the 90th minute whist Ireland trailed France by one goal to nil.

Stapleton was also an unused substitute as she watched on from the touchlines as England defeated Ireland 2-0 on Tuesday’s game.

Northern Ireland - Lauren Wade, Jackie Burns, Rachel Dugdale

Bosnia and Herzegovina (1) vs (3) Northern Ireland

Jackie Burns rounded off a special night with a clean sheet as she started her first game in goal for Northern Ireland in over 507 days after drawing 0-0 with Malta on Friday. Lauren Wade also started upfront for the majority of the game before being substituted in the 89th minute. Rachel Dugdale was an unused substitute as she watched on from the bench.

Burns and Wade also kept their positions in the starting eleven on Tuesday night as they both played the full game in the 3-1 victory over Bosnia and Herzegovina with Wade opening the scoring early on in the second half. Dugdale was also brought into the match just after the hour mark as she helped her side to victory.

Wales – Charlie Estcourt

Charlie Estcourt was an unused substitute for Friday evening’s game as she watched on as her side despatched Croatia with a convincing 4-0 victory.

Estcourt also started Tuesday’s victory over Kosovo where she was required to display her defensive duties when she started the game at right back, our Royal helped to keep a clean sheet in the 45 minutes she played before being changed at half-time.
