New date set for the home tie against the Gas
We can confirm that our home fixture against Bristol Rovers has been rearranged for a second time, and will now take place on Tuesday 7 November 2023 (8pm) at the Select Car Leasing Stadium.
This fixture was initially scheduled to take place last Saturday 9 September, but was postponed due to international call-ups, and was agreed to be rescheduled for Wednesday 1 November.
As part of the planning we undertake for all scheduled matches, we have been working closely with partners locally and in Reading to ensure all fans can safely enjoy the match. Due to a significant event taking place in the Thames Valley area on the same day, the decision has been made to postpone the match until 7 November.
It will follow our FA Cup first round tie, which is due to take place on the weekend of Saturday 4 November – we’ll learn our opponents and venue for that fixture after the qualifying rounds finish three weeks earlier.
Tickets for the rearranged Bristol Rovers fixture will be on sale soon; any tickets purchased for the original fixture will remain valid for the new date.
