Pirates to make Wednesday-night trip to the Select Car Leasing Stadium
We can confirm that our home fixture against Bristol Rovers, which was initially due to take place last weekend, will now take place on Wednesday 1 November 2023 (8pm).
The game against the Pirates was originally scheduled for Saturday 9 September, but a spate of international call-ups for our side caused this fixture to be postponed.
And now the two clubs and the EFL have confirmed that it’ll be a Wednesday-night trip to Berkshire for Bristol Rovers – their first visit to RG2 since 2001.
It’ll make for three straight fixtures at the Select Car Leasing Stadium in the space of nine games – Fleetwood Town and Portsmouth visit on the previous Tuesday and Saturday respectively. A chance to pick up points with the home crowd right behind us.
Tickets will be on sale imminently at ticketing.readingfc.co.uk – any tickets that were bought for the original fixture will remain valid for the rearranged date.
