Royals forward, Natasha Dowie, has completed a loan move to Merseyside club Liverpool which will keep her at the club till the end of the season.
Dowie has made 14 appearances in all competitions for Reading this season, scoring three goals
Once against Liverpool in an enthralling 3-3 draw back in November, and twice from the spot. The first in a 2-1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur in the FA Women’s Continental Cup, then more recently in the FA Cup fourth round win against Leicester City last Sunday.

Dowie has previously worked under the stewardship of Matt Beard, when she first signed for Liverpool back in 2012, signing from their closest rivals Everton.
In her first full season, the English forward finished top scorer in the 2013 FA WSL with 13 goals in 14 games, as Liverpool were crowned league champions. She was also voted FA Players’ Player of the Year and was selected in the PFA Team of the Year.
Following a three-year spell in Merseyside, Dowie left the Reds, as she took her game across the world representing the likes of Melbourne Victory, Boston Breakers, Linkoping, Valerenga and Milan, before signing for the Royals in the summer of 2021.

Since arriving in Berkshire, Dowie has made 36 appearances in all competitions scoring on 12 occasions, and featured regularly in Kelly Chambers’ attacking line up last season playing 22 times, scoring 9 goals.
It was the forward’s goals which played a part in helping the Royals set a new unbeaten record between October to February last season. In that time, she picked up two goal of the month nominations, with her audacious lob against Leicester scooping the award.
