Belgian international midfielder links up with Kelly Chambers' side

Reading FC Women are delighted to announce the signing of Belgian forward Justine Vanhaevermaet, who arrives at Reading on a two-year deal from Norwegian Toppserien outfit, LSK Kvinner FK.

Vanhaevermaet is a regular in the Belgian national side, with 32 caps at youth level and a further ten on the senior stage. Now at 29, she signs on for her first ever season in the Women's Super League and sets her sights on success in England and RG2.

The Belgian's professional footballing career began with Anderlecht in 2012, from there she moved to Lierse, spending the following three years from 2013 with the former top-flight team. 

While with Lierse, Vanhaevermaet netted 10 goals in 48 appearances, a spell that earnt her a place in her national team for the very first time.

Since 2018, she has represented SC Sand in Germany, Roa in Norway, and LSK Kvinner, also in Norway where she found herself most recently. 

Vanhaevermaet will add further experience to Reading's ranks - and all at the club would like to extend a warm welcome to Justine!
