Revealed! Our new colours for next season are available to pre-order in all sizes…now!

A long, long, long season is now at an end. Thank you for your support throughout – whether that has been in person or, more recently, in spirit.

Without any time to catch our breath, the focus turns sharply towards our 2020-21 campaign. It all kicks off again on Saturday 12th September!

A fresh start. A clean slate. On the pitch, the playing personnel is set to change and the manager has spoken openly about building a young, hungry, vibrant squad capable of playing high-tempo football and driving this club forward.

So ahead of a brand new challenge, it’s all change for our kits too.

Blue and white hoops at home is a given. Our 2020-21 design also incorporates some new and innovative patterns including a retro-style polo shirt collar and sleeve trim and an optical graphic design across the blue shoulder panels.

Away from home, we’re painting the town red.

We last wore red on the road in 2011-12…and it brought us luck during a campaign that ended in promotion to the Premier League! Our first outing in red led to victory at Leicester City. And who can forget the iconic images of Noel Hunt and Alex Pearce celebrating late, late goals in a fabulous 3-2 away victory at Portman Road, Simon Church’s second minute winner at Elland Road, Ian Harte’s free kick at the Amex to take us towards the top flight and the title…all achieved in red!

With a  V-neck and blue detailing across the shirt, the red colour is split into two tones on the front and back of the shirt. The club’s crown branding is embossed on the back of the collar, while the away shorts are also red.

The official replica goalkeeper strip, meanwhile, is neon yellow in 2020-21. And it’s all on sale for pre-orders right now!

All kits, in all sizes for men, women and children, are available to purchase via pre-order! Just visit the online Fanstore and choose from our new range of replica kits.

Please remember, the Madejski Stadium store remains closed to fans in person and no pre-orders will be taken over the phone – so the only way to pre-order your kit for 2020-21 is via our online store. And with names and numbers for first team players due to change and not expected to be confirmed until a date much closer to the start of the new season, we will not be providing a name and number printing service for supporters’ shirts until a later date.

The kits themselves are not yet in stock at Madejski Stadium but they are all scheduled to arrive with us at the end of August / beginning of September and, importantly, in advance of the start of the new campaign. All orders will be delivered direct to supporters’ doors as soon as stock arrives in store.

It may not be the case for our opening fixture of the season, but we are so looking forward to seeing our supporters sporting the club’s colours in the stands at Madejski Stadium as soon as it is possible

Before then, show your colours in and around town, in the socially distanced queues outside the supermarket, in the office if you’re back at work - or just in small rectangles of laptops around the world as you take part in the weekly Zoom quiz or the daily Teams call to your colleagues, friends and family!

Be proud. Back the boys. Be back soon.
