Madejski meeting with the Robins rearranged for Tuesday night under the lights due to our participation in the FA Cup Fourth Round...

Madejski Stadium will now welcome Bristol City to Berkshire on Tuesday 28th January, kick-off 8pm; this Sky Bet Championship fixture needed rescheduling following confirmation of our qualification for the Fourth Round of the FA Cup.

Reading vs Bristol City | Tuesday 28th January, 8pm | Madejski Stadium | Sky Bet Championship

Our FA Cup Third Round replay win in Blackpool set up a home tie with Cardiff City which is being played at 3pm on Saturday 25th January - meaning a league encounter with the Robins, which was initially due to take place that weekend, needed to be rearranged.

Much like a number of other Championship games which were initially scheduled for that weekend but need rescheduling due to clubs' continued FA Cup participation, Mark Bowen's men will now host Bristol City three days later than originally planned, kicking off against the Robins at 8pm on Tuesday 28th January.

The Royals now face an even busier January than anticipated. Winning a cup replay at Bloomfield Road and the rearrangement of our postponed trip to Nottingham Forest, this fixture against Bristol City will represent the eighth of nine first team games to be played in the first month of 2020.

Lee Johnson's men currently sit 9th in the table and won 1-0 against the Royals when we visited Ashton Gate back in October., courtesy of a first half finish from Famara Diedhiou.

So, as always, we will need your support. Tickets for this rearranged league game are on sale to supporters now.
