18-year-old forward completes switch to League Two side

Reading Football Club can announce that 18-year-old forward Jack Nolan has completed a permanent transfer to Walsall, joining the League Two club for an undisclosed fee.

Nolan signed his first professional contract with the Royals in the summer of 2018, having impressed during his two-year scholarship within our Academy and on the Under-23s stage.

The former England Under-17 international has now put pen to paper on a professional contract with the Saddlers and Nolan will aim to make a first team impact at the Bescot as they bid to bounce straight back to the third tier.

He is eligible to make his debut for Darrell Clarke’s men in a home game against Crawley Town on Saturday. Everyone at Reading Football Club would like to wish Jack the very best of luck with Walsall and in his future career.
