The Football Association have confirmed that five fixtures have been selected for live broadcast over the opening two weekends of the 2020-21 Barclays FA Women’s Super League season – and Kelly Chambers' Royals will be broadcast live on the red button on Sunday 6th September.
Villa, who won The FA Women’s Championship title last season, will open the campaign at Villa Park against Manchester City - so the Reading will be table to take a look at their first Madejski opponents live on BT Sport 2 on Saturday 5th September.
Arsenal and Reading will open the following day’s fixtures in front of the BBC cameras on Sunday 6th September as our match at Meadow Park, Borehamwood, has been selected for the BBC Red Button. Kick-off has been scheduled for 12.30pm.
That same afternoon, BT Sport 1 will feature champions Chelsea, as they travel north to take on Manchester United. The match at Leigh Sports Village will kick off at 2.30pm.
Of course, fans are reminded that Barclays FA Women’s Super League fixtures not selected for live broadcast will be streamed live on The FA Player - so there is no reason not to follow the fortunes of our women's team this season!
