Sackey's Story
Young midfielder Sackey became the 63rd graduate to have his name etched onto our Academy honours board when he made his Reading debut in September 2020 as a 17-year-old, during a 1–0 EFL Cup defeat at home to Luton Town.
A regular for our Under-18s during the 2020-21 campaign, Lynford made 16 appearances for Michael Donaldson’s side, in addition to a further two for Mehmet Ali’s Under-23s.
